white concrete river table

modern builds: s.02 Ep..49

Today on Modern Builds I’m making a CONCRETE RIVER TABLE with a no-weld metal base. Check out the video to see how I did it!

If you’ve searched for white concrete online you were probably disappointed… at least I was. It’s expensive online and not easy to find locally. The good news is that you can find the individual ingredients at most construction supply stores. Call around to you local builder’s supply and if they don’t carry white ingredients, they should know who does.

the recipe

  • 3 PARTS AGGREGATE (GRAVEL/ROCKS)

  • 2 PARTS SAND

  • 1 PART PORTLAND CEMENT

  • LIQUID FORTIFIER IS OPTIONAL

  • Adding rebar or wire mesh reinforcement will add more strength than the fortifier.

Pinning my projects to your Pinterest boards helps Modern Builds continue to grow. I've created a couple of easy-to-share photos that you can add to your boards by clicking the "Pin It" button in the top left corner of each picture. Thanks in advance! - Mike
