DIY MID CENTURY MODERN BOOKCASE

modern builds: s.02 Ep.35

You all know I LOVE building mid-century inspired furniture and this offset bookshelf is quite possibly my favorite piece to date. I started by designing this project in sketchup (file download below) and kept moving shelves around in different configurations until I found a 3D model I liked. If you plan on building this project yourself, I think it would be awesome to see some modified versions. Feel free to adjust the plans and project to your needs/ liking.

This whole project can be done with limited tools: a circular saw, jigsaw, and drill/driver. I’ve included a materials list below and downloadable PDF plans. Check them out and let me know what you think!!

Pinning my projects to your Pinterest boards helps Modern Builds continue to grow. I've created a couple of easy-to-share photos that you can add to your boards by clicking the "Pin It" button in the top left corner of each picture. Thanks in advance! - Mike
